MS-440G High Solids Non-Slip Deck Coating
MS-440G is a high solids, two-part, general purpose non-slip deck coating designed to provide maximum wear and impact resistance. Fire retardant in the cured state, MS-440G is resistant to fire and jet blast, most acids, alkalies, solvents, grease, oil, salt water, detergents, alcohol, gasoline, jet fuels, cellulube and other hydraulic fluids. Because of its tenacious bond, rust will not creep under the coating if fractured.
AST Anti-Slip Coatings were first developed for military use on the decks of America’s aircraft carriers. In what the military terms a “controlled crash,” our coatings are tested and certified to withstand over 15,000 high-impact landings from a 60,000 pound jet fighter, dragging a steel tailhook across the deck at over 170 mph.
In addition to this relentless beating, AST Anti-Slip Coatings were designed to handle some of the most corrosive substances in the world including jet fuel, Skydrol hydraulic fluid, grease, oil and salt spray. If AST Anti-Slip Coatings can stand up to that type of brutal punishment, they can easily handle the heaviest forklift, steel-wheeled, and pedestrian traffic you can imagine.
MIL-PRF-24667C TYPE I, Comp G / IMO
High Solids Non-Slip Deck Coating
MS-440G is a high solid, two-part, general purpose non-skid deck coating designed to provide maximum wear and impact resistance for US Naval vessels.
